We at Scuba World Encourage you to own your own Soft Gear.

  • Masks: Masks are often kept from fogging up by using Anti Fog (bought at your local dive center)inside the lens and rubbing it all over the glass let it dry whilst Kitting Up. This provides a film that will not allow condensation to adhere to the glass. To remove the film on New Masks, use a slightly abrasive agent like toothpaste. Avoid gel type toothpaste and go for common white toothpaste. NOTE: THIS IS FOR GLASS LENSES ONLY, NOT PLASTIC (POLYCARBONATE) LENSES. Plastic lens masks, such as the freediving favorite AquaSphere Sphera mask, scratch easily and may even come with an anti-fog agent already applied to the lens. Toothpaste, or other abrasive agents, as well as fingernails may scratch and ruin plastic lenses! If you decide to pre-treat your plastic (polycarbonate) lens with toothpaste, do so at your own risk. One way to minimize scratching plastic (polycarbonate) lenses is to use a soft, wet washcloth and rub lightly in a circular motion.

  • Snorkels: We soak in Anti Bacterial Liquid .At the end of the day, we care about your health.

  • Fins: Fins propel you through the water. They must fit your feet comfortably and you must be able to use them effectively without causing cramps. You own your own shoes, why wouldn't you own your own fins?

  • Wetsuits: Although we can hire you a Wetsuit, again we advise that you consider purchasing your own. The reality is that although we take a lot of care in the maintenance of our hire wet suits, Plus Make sure that it will fit you properly. A bad fitting Wetsuit will allow cold water to enter and chill you on your dive.
