Scubaworld & Universal Adventures Zimbabwe offers high-quality scuba gear for rental, perfect for diving at Chinhoyi Caves or other dive sites across Zimbabwe.
Whether you need a full dive setup or just specific gear like cylinders, wetsuits, or weights, we’ve got you covered. All equipment is maintained to the highest standards and available for daily, two-day, or weekly hire.

Note: We do not rent dive boots, gloves, hoods, or dive lights. Bring your own or purchase from us.
How to Reserve
​

Reserve in advance: Highly recommended for weekends and holidays to ensure availability.

Deposit required: Failure to show or cancel within 24 hours will incur a charge.

Rental periods:
​

1 day – return by 5 p.m. the same day

2 days – return by 5 p.m. the following day
-
3 days – return by 5 p.m. the second day after hire

Student Discounts: Special rates for students enrolled in our diving courses.

Rental Conditions
​

Must produce a valid dive certification card.
-
Equipment is for personal use only; no loaning or subletting.
-
Renter must be certified and in good health.
-
Non-certified divers may not use BCDs, regulators, tanks, computers, or weight belts.

Inspect all gear before leaving; report any deficiencies.
-
Misuse or damage is the renter’s responsibility.

Equipment must be returned cleaned, free of foreign matter; $25 cleaning fee applies if not.

Late returns incur an additional daily charge.
-
Lost or unreturned items are charged at replacement value.
Rental gear is not for independent instructors unless authorized by Scubaworld & Universal Adventures.

Cylinder Rentals

Additional refills during rental are charged

No charge for refills when returning cylinders

Dive Gear Advice
​

Masks: Pre-treat glass lenses with anti-fog; avoid scratching plastic lenses

Snorkels: Sanitized for hygiene

Fins: Must fit comfortably; ensure effective propulsion

Wetsuits: Ensure proper fit to prevent cold water entry
We recommend owning your own soft gear (mask, fins, snorkel, wetsuit) for comfort and hygiene.

Safety & Responsibility

Before use, the renter must assess suitability and fitness of the equipment. Scubaworld & Universal Adventures and the manufacturer are not liable for injury, loss, or damage from improper use.
